Hello everyone, I want to share my experience from May 6, 2017. I had the Gastric Sleeve procedure with Dr. Sergio Del Hoyo. From day 1, there was a constant stream of communication and that's something very important for me when choosing a doctor. Dr. Sergio and his medical team was very professional and kind to me. The CMQ Premier hospital is beautiful, clean, and fully-equipped. My anesthesiologist, Dr. Jessy, was helpful from the first moment. I’d like to share my gastric bypass operation experience, I’ll try to be brief, but I think it’ll be impossible.Since I was 22 or 24 years old, I’ve had problems with my weight. Problems that began during my pregnancy. I tried diet after diet after diet, occasionally seeing success, but each success was followed by more weight gain. Years later, I discovered a surgery that promised to reduce weight and I began searching for the best doctor in Puerto Vallarta and fortunately, I found Dr. Sergio Del Hoyo Bariatric Surgeon. He is the doctor who took me by the hand and removed all of my doubts about the operation.It’s an operation with a rapid recovery. The little amount of pain that I experience paled in comparison to the years of psychological pain and daily shame and inconveniences that I endured with my weight, like simply being able to sit in a movie theater seat, or needing to order a seatbelt extension on the plane, I could list so many more.During my recovery at home, Dr. Sergio was always present to answer my questions. If I had any concern or complication, I communicated with him directly and he always had an answer.I recommend surgery to all men and women who are in a similar situation.I’m happy. My life has changed completely. I take care of my diet and I’m participating in sports.
